Road closure causing delays near Meadowhall
A BURST water main has led to a road closure near Meadowhall this morning (Thursday).
The A6178 Sheffield Road/Attercliffe Common is closed between the Vulcan Road junction and the Weedon Street junction.
It is leading to heavier than usual traffic on Brightside Lane and surrounding roads as motorists use alternative routes.
There are also delays on the M1 motorway (pictured above) in both directions betweeen junctions 31 for Aston and junction 35 for Thorpe Hesley.
