Road closed as police probe Rotherham attack

A MAN in his late 20s suffered a fractured jaw after as assault in Swinton last night.

Police attended Rowms Lane shortly after 9pm and the injured man was taken to Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital.

The road was closed for several hours. A spokeswoman said: “We are investigating the full circumstances and re-attended the scene this morning to conduct further enquiries.”
