Road closed after car hits tree in Maltby

A MAN has been taken to hospital after a car hit a tree in Maltby.

Police were called to the scene on Tickhill Road at 11.40am today (Monday), a police spokeswoman said.

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital, she added.

The road was closed while the the scene of the accident was cleared.
