Ride-on mower stolen in Firbeck farm building burglary

BURGLARS stole large tools and equipment from a farm building in Firbeck last night (Tuesday).

BURGLARS stole large tools and equipment from a farm building in Firbeck last night (Tuesday).

Offenders gained access to the building some time overnight, stealing an orange Husqvarna 216 ride-on mower and other items, before leaving in a vehicle via a nearby field, a police spokeswoman said.

They took other items includinga JCB Beaver powerpack, a Mikita mitre chop saw, two petrol strimmers, a petrol generator, a chain saw and a hedge trimmer.

PC Garry Pratt, investigating, said: "If you are offered any of these items for sale, or see them being advertised on social media or local forums, please make contact with us.

"If you have any information who might be responsible for last night's burglary I’d also like to hear from you."
