DOGS and cats helped by an animal rescue charity are thanking supporters for their help in festive song.
With The X Factor gone, Christmas may have been lacking someone in need singing about how their dreams have just come true — but the animals at Rain Rescue have certainly filled that gap.
The charity has produced a video with a virtual choir of animals “singing” their own version of The Twelve Days of Christmas.
In their rendition, the animals, with the help of their carers, sing about what your money and support has gifted to them, including treatment for fleas, scratching posts and bags of litter.
The virtual make believe choir aims to bring a sense of fun and festivity and raise a smile on the faces of those who watch the video.
Pat Davey, spokeswoman for the charity, said to supporters: “Many thanks for your support over the past year and all of us at Rain Rescue — dogs, cats, staff and voluntary workers — wish you and your staff the happiest of Christmasses and a very good new year.”
