Recycling backlog to be cleared by Saturday

BLUE box collections are ongoing as the battle to catch-up with Rotherham’s waste collection backlog continues.

Officials from Rotherham Borough have already said that grey bin collections which were stalled by the boxing day snow flurries should be honoured by the end of the week.

But the authority is also working to clear the contents of residents’ recycling.
