Reason behind Parkgate store's sudden closure
A SHOP has revealed the reason behind its sudden closure today.
Wilko at Parkgate was forced to close due to a damaged drainpipe, which caused the shop to flood.
Signage was displayed outside of the shop earlier this morning, saying the store was closed.
A spokeperson from Wilko said: "We've unfortunately had to close our Parkgate store due to a flood from a damaged drainpipe on the building.
"We're hoping to be able to reopen tomorrow (August 13)."
