RCAT open day to showcase courses

ROTHERHAM College of Arts and Technology is holding an open day this week for teenagers considering their career options.

The college will be showcasing its courses at its town centre campus in Eastwood Lane, Rotherham, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Thursday.

Visitors will be able to talk to tutors and support staff about their career options, view interactive demonstrations and look around the college’s facilities.

Anybody wanting to attend the open event can preregister for a chance to win £50 of Meadowhall Vouchers by going online and filling in a short form at https://apps.facebook.com/rotherham-voucher.

Parents will have the opportunity on the night to attend talks about 'What is Vocational Education and the higher education and employment routes it provides' and 'What are Apprenticeships and their Benefits?'.

These talks have been created by the college to help parents make the right choices for their child’s future direction that suits them.

There is also an open event planned for Tuesday, March 19, at the College’s Rother Valley Campus in Dinnington.
