Rawmarsh's Harry Kane lookalike on being "celeb-spotted" by World Cup fans

Keen football fan James Bell, from Rawmarsh, is often mistaken for the England captain.

But 22-year-old James revealed he doesn’t play the game himself, unlike the free-scoring Spurs striker currently leading the World Cup goal-scoring stakes.

James had been “celeb-spotted” last week when he went to watch England’s group match against Panama in a Grimsby pub last week.

“Some people even started chanting at me, which was a bit weird,” the council road worker laughed.

James, of Ash Grove, added: “When Harry first burst on the scene a friend said he looked a lot like me but I never thought anything of it. 

“Then as he’s made more of a name for himself the lookalike thing has happened more and more.

“I’d love to go into being a lookalike but I wouldn’t know where to start.”

Despite his connection to the England captain, James revealed that he doesn’t play football himself and his main passion is cars.
