Rawmarsh teachers on strike again

TEACHERS at a Rotherham secondary school walked out on strike again today, with more strikes and a march planned over the next few weeks.

Members of the NUT teachers’ union at Rawmarsh Community School are in the fifth week of strike action over 34 job losses, including 25 teaching staff.

The teachers will be on strike next Tuesday and three days the following week. A march and demonstration is being organised for Saturday March 5.
