Rawmarsh man seriously hurt as attackers flee scene
The pair, both 22 and from Sheffield, were picked up after the assault which left two men injured, one seriously.
A 19-year-old Conisbrough man and a 20-year-old man from Rawmarsh were in Barnsley town centre at about 2.30am.

Hide AdThey were allegedly set upon by the occupants of a blue Audi A4 and a white Vauxhall Combo van on Peel Street.
The Audi driver is believed to have tried to drive away but hit the 20-year-old, who became trapped under the vehicle.
Just before police arrived a number of people who were out in the town centre lifted the passenger side of the car while others pulled the man out.
He was taken to Barnsley Hospital with fractures to his pelvis and ribs and serious head injuries.

Hide AdThe 19-year-old was left with facial injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
