Do you recognise this photograph?
LIBRARY staff are trying to trace the family of the man in this photo after it was found hidden inside a book in a lost property bin.
Joy Lloyd, library representative at Rawmarsh Library, said they were doing a big clean up of the premises last week when the discovery was made.
“We were just clearing up when we found this photo in a book that was in our lost property and we would love to be able to reunite this photography with this man’s family members — it would be a shame to throw it away,” Joy added.
There are also some words scribbled on the back and is dated 1948 in Yeovil, Somerset.
It reads: “To my dear sister Joy, from your loving brother Henry”.
The photo will be held at Rawmarsh Library on Barbers Avenue for collection.
