Rawmarsh by-election announced
A BY-election to fill the council seat vacated by Police Commissioner Shaun Wright will take place next month.
Voters in Rawmarsh will go to the polls on Thursday, May 16, Rotherham Borough Council has announced.
Mr Wright quit two weeks ago as the Advertiser revealed he missed 11 straight council meetings after becoming commissioner last November.
The deadline for anyone wishing to stand is April 18. Electors must be registered by April 30. Click here for more details.
