Rawmarsh burglar jailed for stealing shotguns and cash

Ashley Goodinson (39), of South Street, Rawmarsh, burgled a farmhouse in Bradgate, Sheffield, on April 20, shortly after 2pm.

He took six shotguns, 400 shotgun pellets and £2,000 in cash while the owner was out.

Goodinson was found guilty at Sheffield Crown Court last month following a two-day trial.

He was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in jail last Tuesday (20).

Goodinson owned a white Mercedes van which was used to carry stolen goods away from the farmhouse.
