BRITISH Transport Police says 16 railway detonators stolen at Masbrough could cause serious harm if tampered with.

The items were taken over two separate occasions, on January 21 and February 7. 

A BTP spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information, to get in touch to assist the investigation.”
