Questions over closure of Crags Community School

PARENTS have called for answers after their children’s school has been closed for four days.

Crags Community School, in Maltby, has been closed since Wednesday but no information has been posted on its website.

One concerned parent said the closure was due to a “fire alarm malfunction”.

She added: “Surely people would be working day and night to resolve this yet the school has been empty as far as I’ve seen. 

“I completely understand it’s in the welfare of our children but they don’t seem to be very forthcoming with information.”

The Advertiser tried to contact the school for comment but there was no answer.

Rotherham Borough Council has also been asked to comment.
