Quad bike blaze at Rother Valley Country Park

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a quad bike found well alight at Rother Valley Country Park.

Crews from Birley Moor station attended at 1.54pm yesterday (Sunday) and were there for almost an hour.

Earlier, at 4am, a VW Passat was deliberately set alight on Carr Road in Edlington.

A small blaze in a bungalow under construction at Old Farm Court, Mexborough, was dealt with on Saturday evening.

Firefighters from Dearne and Rotherham attended. The fire was started deliberately.

There was also a vehicle fire on Lordens Hill at Dinnington shortly before 1.20am on Saturday. Crews left at 2am and deemed the fire to have started deliberately.
