Public invited to Mexborough hospital meeting

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals is hosting the meeting from 4pm on Wednesday, September 20, in the Fred and Ann Green Rehabilitation Centre, at Montagu Hospital in Mexborough.

Attendees will hear the trust’s annual report and accounts and will have a chance to ask questions of executives.

Suzy Brain England, chair of the trust’s board, said: “It has been a challenging and exciting year, all of which points towards a bright future for our patients, services and staff.

“As part of our exhibition we will be showcasing our newly developed strategic direction, setting out what we want to achieve over the next five years.

“We look forward to welcoming people from across Doncaster, Bassetlaw and Mexborough to discuss our plans for the future and hear about our achievements.”

Guests will also be able to meet local governors, who represent the views of patients, public, staff and partner organisations.

The patient experience team will also be on hand to discuss any queries or concerns about treatment.
