Pub fire in Wingfield
A FIRE at a pub in Wingfield last night is being treated as arson.
Fire engines from Rotherham, Elm Lane and Dearne stations were called out to pub at The Keppels on Wingfield Road at 8.40pm.
The cladding and insulation near the roof were involved in the blaze, said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
"The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and the crews left the scene at 9.45pm," she added.
