CAMPAIGNERS calling for A Time For Change descended on Rotherham town centre on Saturday.

A rally attended by around 150 people was staged in All Saints' Square to publicly protest against Rotherham Borough Council on a range of issues.

Meal on wheels protesters gathered alongside Bramley traffic campaigners and activists bidding to save green belt land from being dug up for thousands of new homes.

Other issues causing concern among the protesters were controversial plans for a wind farm near Ulley and the prospect of housing being built on Herringthorpe Playing Fields.
