Protest songs performed at Rotherham trade union event

SINGER Joe Solo (pictured) performed a selection of protest songs at an event organised by unions at New York Stadium.

Rotherham TUC arranged the Rise Like Lions day with the town’s branches of the GMB and NUT.

Speakers on Saturday included MP Sarah Champion.
