Protect yourself against drink spiking
UNIFORMED and plain clothes officers were out in Wickersley on Friday (7) night as part of efforts to curb drink-spiking.
There has been an increase in incidents regionally and nationally, including with use of needles, in the past six months.
Rotherham South Neighbourhood Police Team said: “Officers were in Wickersley on the lookout for potential criminals who may be spiking unsuspecting victims drinks.

Safety tips include never leaving drinks unattended and making plans in advance for getting home.
