Proposals for Rhinos expansion approved after blaze
PLANS for a Rotherham town centre pub’s expansion were approved — four days after it was wrecked by fire.
The proposals for Rhinos on Bridgegate were filed six months ago by Essex-based Cape Designs Ltd and approved by RMBC on July 20.
However the premises — and a vacant unit next door — were destroyed in a blaze on July 16, which the fire service said was accidental.
