Probe into cause of fire in empty flat
AN INVESTIGATION will take place into how a blaze started inside an empty Conisbrough flat.
Fire crews from Edlington, Rotherham and Dearne stations attended Sickleworks Close at 4.20am today (Wednesday).
They wore breathing apparatus to search the property but no-one was inside.
A South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue spokesperson said: “The crews left the scene at 6am. An investigation will take place to determine the cause of the fire.”
