Pretty Muddy mum raises £1,000 for cancer charity

A MUM of two tackled a 5km Pretty Muddy obstacle course to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.

Dionne Redpath, of Aston, took part alongside 2,000 other fundraisers at Clumber Park.

She brought in £500 sponsorship, which was matched by her employers, the logistics business Europa Worldwide Group.

Dionne (44) said: “The event was brilliant fun. It was great to see women of all ages get together in our area and take on a challenge for such a worthwhile cause.

“I’m really proud of the total I’ve raised and with Europa’s generous match-funding, I’ve been able to donate quite a significant amount.”

Europa HR and facilities director Carl Potter said: “Dionne has raised an incredible amount for a cause that has great significance to her and her family and should be really proud of completing the muddy challenge.”
