Political rivals’ legal case adjourned

THE legal battle between three Labour MPs and a UKIP rival will rumble on into next year.

Sarah Champion, Sir Kevin Barron and John Healey sued Jane Collins MEP over claims she made about prior knowledge she believed they had of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham.

A judge was due to rule on possible damages to be paid at a High Court hearing on Friday.

But the case was adjourned until January as Ms Collins was absent due to ill health.
