Police seek man after knifepoint garage robbery

A WOMAN was injured when a masked man carrying a knife robbed the petrol station she was working at.

The member of staff was working at Dearneside Motors, Barnsley Road, Goldthorpe, at around 4.50am on Tuesday when a man carring a knife, threatened staff and stole cash before leaving the scene.

The suspect is described as slim and is said to have been wearing a yellow fluorescent cagoule-type top, a facemask and gloves.

Detectives urged anyone who saw what happened, or who has any information, to call police on 101, quoting incident number 167 of June 20.
