Police seek armed robbers who raided Brinsworth shop

ARMED robbers stole cash and cigarettes after threatening staff during a raid on a shop.

Two men are said to have entered the Premier on Whitehill Road at around 9.30pm on Sunday.

They threatened staff and demanded money, before leaving with cash and cigarettes.

Witnesses could not confirm what the men were armed with, describing it to police as “an implement”.

It is thought that the men fled the scene using a vehicle and officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity or vehicles in the area.
