Police searching for clown after Hallowe'en road crash

The man in costume was snapped while riding in a group of illegal off-road bikers across Rotherham and Sheffield.

One of the bikes is said to have been in a collision with a Fiat Punto in Woodhouse at 12.26pm on October 31. The rider fled the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “Our off-road bike team is appealing for information about the identity of a clown.

“We’d like to speak to the man in the costume, as we believe he can assist with our enquiries.”

Anyone with information or dash-cam footage is urged to call 101 quoting incident 407 of October 31.
