Police release e-fit of Whiston burglary suspect

POLICE have issed an e-fit of a man they want to trace after an attempted burglary in Whiston.

The incident happened on Tuesday, January 31, on Reresby Road when a 57-year-old woman heard her front door open and was confronted by an unknown man in her property.

The man ran from the address and is believed to have got into a white transit van and driven away.

If anyone recognises the man in the e-fit, they should contact the police on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 597 of January 31.
