Police recruitment event in Wath

A POLICE information event is taking place in Wath next week for anyone who wants to know more about becoming an officer. 

This is one of a number of events happening across the region and an opportunity to find out more about the role itself, the recruitment process, eligibility crieria and more. 

It will be held at Robert Dyson House, Unit 5 Callflex Business Park on Doncaster Road, on Tuesday, (September 3) at 6.30pm.

It will be taking place in a secure police building and booking is essential. You will not be allowed access, unless you have secured a place. Arrivals after 6.30pm will not be able to access the building and all attendees must bring photo ID.

The registration process to apply to become a police officer will open on Monday, September 9, and you are still able to sign up if you haven't attended an information event.

Registration will remain open for seven days.

Applicants from BAME, disabled and LGBT+ communities are especially encouraged to apply.
