The event will run between 11am to 4pm and Dearne SNT are hoping that around 50 young people aged eight to 19 will attend and take part in activities including a graffiti art workshop and a samba band.

Food and refreshments will be provided.

A magician and various police departments including mounted officers, dog handlers and the Road Policing Group will also attend.

Dearne SNT Inspector Alan Simpson said: "This is a great way for us to promote some of the work we do and engage with young people.

"We are hoping as many kids as possible turn up  for a fun alternative to watching TV on their break from school."
