Police probe Flanderwell vandalism attack

POLICE are investigating a vandalism attack on a car and a flat were linked to rumours about one of the residents.

Windows were smashed at the property in Markfield Drive, Flanderwell, last Monday and a car parked nearby was vandalised, with its windscreen damaged and tyres slashed.

A police spokesman said: “Officers responded to reports of criminal damage to a car and address on Markfield Drive in Flanderwell, Rotherham, at 5.20pm on Monday, October 9. 

“An investigation has been launched and anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote number 834 of October 9.”
