Police plea for information over crash victim (27)

POLICE are appealing for information following the death of a 27-year-old man in a crash at Whiston in the early hours of Wednesday.

A black Audi A4 was travelling towards Worrygoose Island on East Bawtry Road when the driver appears to have lost control, leaving the road and mounting the grassed central reservation before hitting a tree.

The driver sustained fatal injuries and the road was closed for several hours.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 104 of 24/10/2012.
