Police patrols stepped up after burglaries in Aston, Swallownest and Dinnington

BURGLARS climbed onto the roofs of garages and sheds and entered homes through upstairs windows during a spate of similar incidents.

Police said it was investigating after a “small number” of break-ins in Dinnington, Aston and Swallownest and extra patrols had been put in place.

Anyone with any information about last week’s incidents should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
