Police hunting for three people after charity box theft

POLICE are hunting for two women and a man after a charity box was stolen from a butchers in Hellaby.

The trio (pictured, above and below) entered the Meat Mart store on Sandbeck Way at 2.30pm on Sunday, February 9, a police spokeswoman said.

They are believed to have filled two baskets with meat before taking the charity box and running from the store.

Officers believe they fled the scene in a small light blue coloured car, said the spokeswoman.

Officers are keen to speak to the people in the images as they believe they hold vital information into the theft.
