Police hunt stolen dogs

POLICE are appealing for help in tracking down five dogs stolen from a garden pen.

South Yorkshire Police believe someone took the dogs—four female chihuahuas and one female pug—from an address in Kilnhurst.

They believe the theft happened between 8.30pm last Tuesday and 11am last Wednesday.

Anyone spotting the animals, which are all microchipped, is asked to contact the police immediately.

The three-year-old pug is fawn-coloured with a black muzzle and black on the tips of its  ears.

One three-year-old chihuahua has a long red/ginger coat with a white chest.

Another, which is the same age, has a long brown coat with a black muzzle and black ears and the third is two-and-half years old, mainly black with tan legs and chest.

The final 18-month old chihuahua has a long ginger coat with white markings.
