Police hunt man over Flanderwell stabbing

Police have issued details of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged assault which left a 33-year-old with multiple stab wounds.

Officers are eager to speak to Craig Bolton (31), from Bramley, and are appealing for anyone who has seen him, or knows where he is staying, to contact them.

It follows an incident on Reynolds Close, Flanderwell, at around 8pm last Thursday (1) night.

Police attended the scene following reports of a serious assault and discovered a man with cuts to his head and arms.

The victim of an alleged attack, a 33-year-old from the Flanderwell, was taken to hospital for treatment to his wounds.

A police spokeswoman later confirmed that his injuries “were not life-threatening.”

A 34-year-old woman was arrested in relation to the incident but later released on police bail.
