Police hunt for man wanted in connection with alleged assault

OFFICERS in Rotherham are hunting for a wanted man in connection with an alleged assault that happened at a property in Wellgate.

Police are asking for help to find 32-year-old Jason Russell, who is wanted following an alleged assault at an address in Wellgate on March 5. 

Since the incident, police have carried out extensive enquiries to trace Russell, including visiting addresses that he is linked to, CCTV work, and house to house enquiries.

He is yet to be located and police are asking for the public’s help to trace him.

    Russell is described as white, 5ft 6ins with dark brown hair. He is believed to frequent the Kimberworth area.
