Police hunt for man after Wingfield stabbing of boy, 16

A 16-year-old boy was attacked outside a shop by a man with a knife.

Police are hunting the attacker who assaulted by a man outside of a store on Wingfield Road at 1.15pm on Tuesday .

A spokeswoman said: “The man is then said to have made off in what is believed to have been blue Ford Focus.
 
“The 16-year-old sustained a non-serious stab wound in the incident.”

Anyone with information about the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 417 of March 27.
