Police find drugs factory at house

POLICE investigating a burglary discovered a drugs factory and £15,000 worth of cannabis.

Officers calling at a terraced house in Canklow Road, Canklow, at 9.30am today found 15 mature plants in an upstairs bedroom.

Sgt Michael Sheedy said the property was empty at the time and no arrests have been made yet, but he added that dismantling and removing the sophisticated set-up would cause major disruption to drug supplies.
