Police find car in Canklow Woods after it failed to stop

POLICE gave chase to a car which failed to stop for officers in Treeton.

They pursued a blue Vauxhall Vectra along Brinsworth Road at around 8.35pm on Sunday.

The car was later recovered near Canklow Woods, just off West Bawtry Road.

The occupants of the car had fled and enquiries remain ongoing to identify the driver and any passengers.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 1086 of October 15.
