Police called to suspected supermarket car park wars

POLICE were called to reports of a suspected assault involving two drivers in a supermarket car park this afternoon (Tuesday).

Officers went to Asda car park on Broad Street, Parkgate, at around 2.50pm after receiving reports of a disturbance and assault involving two motorists.

“Officers attended the scene, however after speaking to both drivers it was found that no offences had taken place and no complaints were made,” said a South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman
