Insp Jenny Lax said: “The snow may have slowed us down a little, but our officers are committed to policing the streets of Rotherham and we were still able to see some positive results from last week’s day of action.

“We will continue to hold action days throughout the borough focusing on different areas and responding to the issues raised with us by members of the community.

“The key to effective policing is engaging with the public as your views are vital to the work that we do.”
