Police appeal after woman kicked by man on train

BRITISH Transport Police appealed for witnesses after a man kicked a woman on a train travelling through Rotherham.

They had been arguing on a Leeds to Sheffield service at about 11pm on Friday, November 26.

After the man kicked the woman, they both got off the train at Swinton railway station.

A BTP spokesperson said: “Officers are keen to speak to anyone on-board the train that witnessed the incident, or anyone with information that can assist their enquiries.

“Witnesses, or anyone with information, can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 405040 quoting reference 743 of 26/11/21.

“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
