Police appeal after teenage boy robbed in Brinsworth

TWO men on a moped stopped by a bus stop and robbed a 14-year-old boy of £10.

The lad was with a friend on Brinsworth Road, Brinsworth, at 8.30pm on Saturday (5).

The offenders rode up on a blue and white moped and the passenger searched both boys for property, police said.

After getting the money, the offenders fled in the direction of Whitehill Lane.

Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen what happened to come forward.

A spokesperson said: “Were you in the area at the time? Did you see the robbery take place? Did you see two males riding a moped acting suspiciously?”

Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident 884 of September 5.
