Police appeal after Masbrough crash which injured pedestrian

POLICE have appealed for information about a New Year’s Day collision which left a pedestrian needing hospital treatment.

The woman, in her 20s, was on Princes Street at Masbrough at about 1.50am when the incident happened.

The car involved left the scene before South Yorkshire Police or Yorkshire Ambulance Service arrived.

PC Jack Deakin, leading the investigation, said: “We are looking for anybody who was in the area at the time who saw the collision or the moments leading up to it.”

Anyone with information is urged to call 101, quoting incident 207 of January 1.
