Police appeal after man dies in crash at Todwick

A 30-year-old man died after a single-vehicle crash at Todwick.

The Toyota Yaris he was in left the road and hit a tree on Goose Carr Lane, about 500 yards from the A47 junction.

The man’s body was found yesterday morning (Sunday) and police believe the crash happened between 11pm the previous night and 9am.

A police spokesperson said: “His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.

“Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or believe they captured the vehicle on dash-cam.”
