Plea for witnesses over accident

A WOMAN from Maltby was seriously injured when her car left the road and overturned in Doncaster last Friday morning.

Her silver Renault Megane was travelling from Edlington on the B6094 Carr Lane, towards Conisbrough around 9am when she seems to have lost control on a slight left-hand bend.

The car crossed the carriageway went down some banking and came to rest in a field on its roof.

The 32-year-old driver is being treated at Northern General Hospital for spinal injuries.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time and can comment on the road conditions of Carr Lane near to the junction with Common Road.
