A point would take them to 84 points and beyond Wycombe Wanderers' reach, meaning they couldn't finish out of the top six in League One.

The Millers, in second spot after Saturday's home win over Ipswich Town, have their sights sets on automatic promotion and will be going for victory against the Brewers as they bid to keep MK Dons behind them.

They will be without wing-back Mickel Miller, who is set to miss the four-match run-in because of a hamstring injury, but midfielder Ben Wiles and centre-half Michal Ihiekwe are expected to be declared fit.

"Wilesy is walking wounded to a certain extent and Icky has taken a couple of cracks but I don't think it's enough to put them out of contention," manager Paul Warrne said.

Rotherham beat Burton 3-1 at AESSEAL New York Stadium in December.

"When we played them at home we were fortunate to come away with a positive result," Warne said. "We are going to have to match their athleticism. They are forward-thinking, which I like although not when we play against them!

"We've got to stay in the game and give a good away performance, which is what we've done virtually all season."

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's Brewers, who are 17th in the table, have won once in 11 outings and haven't scored for five games. All of their last three matches, against Plymouth Argyle, Wigan Athletic and Accrington Stanley, have ended 0-0.

MK - on the same number of points as Rotherham but with a worse goal difference and having played a game more - are away to Oxford United this evening.
